My Journey
as a photographer
My journey into the world of photography commenced in 2006, during my freshman year in college. The commencement of my photography journey was marked by a serendipitous occurrence that transpired when my sister lent me her Sony point-and-shoot camera. Little did I know that this simple act would ignite a passion that would shape my life for years to come.
As soon as I held that camera in my hands, I was instantly captivated by the magic of freezing moments in time. I started experimenting with various subjects, from the elegance of portrait photography to the grandeur of landscapes, the intricate details of macro shots, and everything in between. Each click of the shutter became a delightful exploration of the art of photography.

Fast forward to October 2010, a pivotal moment in my photographic journey. It was then that I decided to take a significant step forward and invest in my first DSLR camera, the Nikon D3100. Alongside it, I acquired a 50mm 1.8 prime lens, a speedlight, a softbox, and a host of other accessories that would equip me for the exciting road ahead.
With my new gear in hand, I embarked on a remarkable odyssey. I continued to capture a wide array of subjects, each frame telling a unique story. I ventured into the realm of client work, which opened up a new dimension of creativity and challenge. It was during this phase that I truly honed my skills, learned the art of composition, lighting, and post-processing, and developed my distinctive photographic style. With each year, my love for this art form deepens, and I’m continuously amazed by the power of an image to evoke emotions and memories.
